TBF Advisory was founded on a simple premise: the M&A market is structurally biased toward vendors. We exist to correct that.

The Market Was Built for Sellers.

The traditional M&A advisory model exists to serve vendors. Business brokers, sell-side advisors, and listing platforms all derive their income from the seller's side of the transaction. The buyer is treated as a counterparty, not a client.

That creates a structural misalignment. Buyers — particularly institutional buyers with serious capital and clear acquisition criteria — are often left navigating a market that was never designed for them.

Our Model is Different.

TBF Advisory represents the buyer. Exclusively. We are retained on a mandate basis — which means we are accountable to a specific outcome, not to a listing or a commission from the vendor side.

Where we do act on the sell side, we take a select number of mandates per quarter. Every vendor we represent has been properly prepared. We do not list. We run a structured process to a qualified buyer pool.
